Gender roles within 1950’s advertising.

Today I shot a set of studio images with the aim of questioning issues concerning tension between gender roles found in 1950’s advertising.   The work is part of a larger body that explores the aesthetic qualities found in the psychology of sales and investigates the way in which ‘nothing’ can be sold.
